By-Laws and Guidelines

The International Lilac Society was Incorporated in the State of New York on June 12, 1971.  The ILS Certificate of Incorporation and By-Laws--our governing rules--can be found below.

In addition to our By-Laws, the ILS also maintains a document called, "INTERNATIONAL LILAC SOCIETY GUIDELINES and Descriptions of the Officers' Portfolios, Activities and Responsibilities."  Despite its rather long name, this document provides much helpful information and guidance about the duties of officers of the corporation, along with its committees and membership.
